Jodi Murderabilia

For those who didn’t listen to The Meltdown in 2013, I was one of those people COMPLETELY consumed in the Jodi Arias murder trial. I had CNN Headline’s live stream of the trial on my computer every day…seriously… every friggin’ day.

If you’re not familiar with this case, dig yourself out of the cave you’ve been living in and pull up a chair. Jodi Arias was convicted of not just murdering her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in 2008, but damn near chopping his head OFF before tenderizing him with a knife 23 times AND shooting him. Nice girl. She claims she was abused by him throughout the relationship which led her to “snap.” There’s soooo much more behind it, but I digress.

After her conviction, the case went to a penalty phase and resulted in a hung jury so March 17th looks to be the new date to see if she serves a life sentence or they kill HER ass. I’ll be watching and waiting. STREAM IT CNN!

Anyhoo… As do most crazy ass killers, they know people are twisted enough want a piece of the action and this makes me wonder why people buy “Murderabilia.” Jodi began selling her jailhouse art on Ebay and now she’s selling more personal items; a pair of her jeans, a purse and wristbands… what is the desire to have items from infamous people? Is it simply the desire to have something from such a huge piece of soon-to-be, history or our thirst to be as close to the train wreck as possible?

I don’t know but my thought is since now we have a new date for the second penalty phase of the Arias case, buying items now, if you must, is probably smart…’cause after the hearing, the value of that crap is gonna sky-rocket! DIBS ON THE PURSE, BIATCHES!!

Jodi Arias in court on March 21.
