In the shadow of the most impressive speech I’ve ever heard given by NBA’s MVP, Kevin Durant, and Mother’s Day being this weekend, I thought it appropriate to give the most amazing person in my life some love.
As Kevin says, his mom did so much for him and his family when he was young; fed him when she went hungry, gave without a second thought of herself and raised them on her own. She pushed him to be the best he could be and always stood by his side even when he made mistakes and fell. He called her his MPV.
That’s exactly what my mom, Momma Fireplant, is to me… my MVP.
